Fatima Lopez (she/her) is an Argentinian actor who has been living in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke for many years. Her love of learning and reading has made her the curious, invested and outspoken artist that she is. Fatima has a Professional Theatre diploma from John Abbott College where she learnt many skills such as clown and puppetry.
While training at the National Theatre School (NTS), Fatima has learnt different dance styles, stage combat, expressive mask and Linklater voice training, to name a few. She has worked with incredible artists including Jackie Maxwell, Jessica B. Hill, Marla McLean, Graeme Somerville, Rebecca Northan and Jonathan Patterson. Some productions at NTS include: 365 Days/365 Plays directed by Rose Plotek, As You Like It directed by Haysam Kadri, Antigonick directed by Ruth Madoc-Jones, Macbeth directed by Matjash Mrozewski.
Upon graduation, Fatima will continue to pursue work in film and television, voice-over work and theatre. She has a strong passion for political, challenging, contemporary work, as well as a love for period pieces.
