Bea Crowther

Production Design & Technical Arts (2024)

Bea Crowther is a non-binary, interdisciplinary artist whose love for both the design and technical arts informs their passion for live performance. Bea is driven by a love of people, telling stories, and a desire to make a little bit of magic. Their educational and professional experience as a Technical Director, as well as a Lighting, Set, and Video Designer helps them to be a well-rounded leader and story-teller. Originally from the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Bea hopes that their love for exploring art across Turtle Island and the world will bring them new experiences everywhere they go.

While studying theatre and performance at the University of Guelph, Bishop’s University, and the National Theatre School of Canada, Bea has worked with directors such as Ruth Madoc-Jones, Matjash Mrozewksi, and Kimberley McLeod, as well as mentors such as Autumn Coppaway, Troy Hourie, Michael Medland, Paul Chambers, and T. Erin Gruber.

Bea wishes to work in all forms of live art, such as theatre, dance, performance art, interactive installations, and much more. They are dedicated to every opportunity they accept, and hope to grow as an artist at every turn.
