Leslie Hernandez is an up-and-coming theatre practitioner specializing in production management and technical direction. Though she considers management her expertise, she is also notably an interdisciplinary artist who often seeks new and intriguing challenges. Despite any adversities, Leslie often maintains her effervescent attitude both inside and outside of the theatre. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Honours Chemistry with Thesis, as well as a Certificate of Arts Management, from her alma mater University of Windsor, Leslie believes that her diverse background only contributes to her repertoire of skills. She aims to keep working on relevant and innovative theatre pieces throughout Canada and looks forward to the future of Canadian theatre.
Leslie credits her growth and successes to her invaluable mentors during her time at NTS, namely Andrea Lundy, Kaileigh Krysztofiak, Guillaume Simard, Steve Lucas, Dave Surette, Dean Fleming, Rob Denton, Kathryn Westoll, Leigh Ann Vardy, Michelle Ramsay, Debashis Sinha, Maria Popoff, and Terri Gillis.
