Aurora Torok is a Montreal-based scenographer and technical director who specializes in all areas of theatre design. As a well-rounded theatre practitioner, she has designed for different types of theatre, dance and live performance, and is always happily surprised by the challenges of each individual production.
Recent professional productions include: TOMORROW (Hooks and Crooks, 2019-20) as Production Designer; Acting Manitou Festival (Portland, ME, 2019) as Technical Director and Sound Designer; and The Waves (SummerWorks Performance Festival, 2018) as Lighting Designer, Technical Director and Production Manager.
Aurora graduated from Concordia University with a BFA - Specialization in Design for the Theatre, and from the National Theatre School of Canada in Production Design and Technical Arts.
Recent School productions: Indecent (NTS, 2020) as Sound Designer; Everybody (NTS, 2021) as Video Designer; to those who wait in fear (NTS, 2020) as Lighting Designer.
