Margarita Brodie

Scénographie - Set and Costume Design (2020)

Margarita Brodie came to the National Theatre School of Canada after a gap year spent as an intern with the Toronto International Film Festival. She is an interdisciplinary artist with an exceptional love for theatre and film. No matter the medium, she adores finding texture in the depths of the written word and breathing life into stories through colour and design.

While at the National Theatre School, Margarita has had the privilege of designing the set and props for Indra’s Web, directed by Zach Fraser and Arianna Bardesono, and for The Game by Angelica Schwartz. She also designed the costumes for Ultime Saga, directed by Sébastien David,

Her skills include set and costume design, scenic painting, portrait photography, graphic design, and script analysis. She is proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Dragonframe, and has extensive experience working with a Canon 5D Mark ii camera for both video and photography.
